The vacuum doesn't work well on other bags like plastic bags, only the ones they bundle with.. like those kind of specially thick foodsavers bags. the seller packed in quite a number of bags with the item so should be enough to use. the sealing is good regardless of the plastic bag used. the courier delivery took a week for mine..
